Does Tag Classic work without the I'M SAFE app?
No. Tag Classic is a Bluetooth SOS button that works through a compatible smartphone with the I'M SAFE app installed and the required permissions enabled.
Does it have GPS?
No. Tag Classic uses Bluetooth, not GPS. The I'M SAFE app records the last connected location; it does not provide real-time GPS tracking.
How is the battery replaced?
Tag Classic uses a standard replaceable CR2032 coin cell. Follow the instructions in the user manual to open the housing and swap the cell.
What affects Bluetooth range?
Open-area range is stated up to 100 metres. Real-world range depends on phone compatibility, permissions, settings, connectivity and surrounding conditions such as walls, buildings and interference.
Can it be used to find keys or a phone?
Yes. When phone and Tag are within Bluetooth range you can ring the Tag from the app, and ring the phone from the Tag, using the supported functions.
